Aakash Tablet also known as Sakshat Tablet which was unveiled by Kapil Sibal who is HRD Minister of India on 5th October, 2011. Aakash Tablet is made by the Montreal-based manufacturing company DataWind. Aakash will be assembled at DataWind's new production centre which is situated at southern city of Hyderabad. Aakash Tablet was introduced in July, 2010. But launching date was not declared. Askash Tablet is the world's cheapest tablet till now. Aakash Tablet Price in India and International is approx $50 or Rs. 1,500/- (for students) and Rs. 2,999/- (for commercial purpose).

Firstly, Aakash Tablest is only available for Educational Institutions which will be sold by Government of India.  Aakash Tablet is not much like Apple Ipad or Samsung Galaxy Tablet. But if we talk about the technology in India with best configuration and cheap in rate, then Aakash Tablet fulfills it.
